COGNITIVE MAP

Image
We created  Cognitive map as part of our fourth semester B.Ed curriculum. For this, the teacher trainees in our class took chapters from  the Plus One & Plus Two textbooks. A cognitive map is a type of mental representation which serves an individual to acquire, code, store, recall, and decode information about the relative locations and attributes of phenomena in their everyday or metaphorical spatial environment. The concept was introduced by Edward Tolman in 1948. I have prepared two  cognitive maps,  the first one was from the chapter Permutations and Combinations of class 11 and the second one was from the chapter Differential Equations of the class 12.

INNOVATIVE WORK

The biggest challenge to any teacher is capturing each student attention and converging ideas effectively to create impression. My innovative work is QUADRILATERAL BINGO which help the students to understand the concept of quadrilaterals and their properties. they also identified  different types of quadrilaterals and help them to compare and study them in detail.  it was designed as a game played by two members in which one person shoukd choose a Bingo card with a property of a quadrilateral labelled. The one who take the card should identify the property of the quadrilateral and place a button on the quadrilateral on the Bingo board. the person who complete the row or column will win.
