Semester 1

 we have completed our first week of peer teaching today. it was a beautiful experience on teaching. actually it was the first time we are getting real life teaching experience offline. It helped us a lot to improve your teaching skills and improve our methods and get to modify into a good teacher. this one week made a lot of changes in our teaching and give us a very good experience in teaching and helped us a lot in improving our career. 

 The last peer teaching of this week was done on 26/07/2021.I took 2 lesson templates in the class.The peer teaching makes me more confident and increase mastery of subject matter. Topic 1: same area of rectangle and parallelogram  Topic 2 : Area of parallelogram 

 25/02/2021 my fourth day peer teaching. I taught two lessons.  One was fro ratios and the other from Areas of Quadrilaterals.  Topic 1: Relationship of three quantities  Topic 2: introduction to areas

 On 24/02/2021,the third day of peer teaching was done.I took only one lesson template on today.The peers actively respond and greatly involved in the class. It was inquiry training model.  Topic : Ratios of two quantities (decreasing )

 Second day starts on 23/02/2021. Today, I took two lesson templates from the chapter Ratios.  Afterwards all other student teachers take their classes . Topic 1 : Ratio and Reduced Forms Topic 2 : Ratios of two quantities (increasing )

 As a part of B. Ed curriculum , second phase peer teaching  was done through online platform . It was started on 22/02/2021.  Peer teaching was done through face to face class. So we all came to college & took the class offline by strictly following the covid protocols.. I take two lesson templates on the first day .I opted 8th standard chapter 7 RATIOS & AREAS OF QUADRILATERALS for peer teaching. Today i took one class on the topic : Relationship of the Part and Whole from the unit RATIOS 

 As a part of B. Ed curriculum, we had to undergo a  residential community camp as joined effort of  student teachers at our 3rd semester. But in this academic year the unexpected  pandemic disaster as covid 19, the kerala university changed the camp to 4th semester. So we conducted the camp as a non residential camp for 5 days from 16th feb 2021 to 20th feb 2021  in the college campus with strict protocol of covid 19.     The theme selected was "ജ്യോതിർഗമയ - a voyage to light from darkness ".  Prior to execution, proper planning was done in  combined participation of teaching faculities, principal and student teachers.  We divide the whole students into 4 groups, each group has 12 student teachers.        Variety of cultural activities of student teachers, counselling, seminars, medical camp were conducted. The camp was really awesome and we student teachers enjoyed the camp. DAILY PROGRAMS CHARTED OUR SIGNATURE...

 Second week (8/03/2021-15/03/2021) This week i have comoleted my remaining 8lessons.  One lesson a day.  I taught remaining portions from Money Maths and started new unit construction of quadrilaterals.  In these 15 lessons i have included 2models of teaching also.  On 09/02/2021 i have conducted diagnostic test on my students and practiced remedial teaching on 11/02/2021 I conducted achievement test on 16/02/2021. The test covered all the topics discussed in these 15 days. 

 First week ( 01/02/2021-07/03/2021) I choose std 8 for teaching and opted unit money maths . It was an amazing experience for me.firsty I taught about simple interest and then come to the topic compound interest through problems.first week I completed the class related to compound interest,  half yearly compounding,  quarterly compounding, and uniform increasing.  Every day I give follow up activity and review questions.

 SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE              -   Face-to-face online teaching with actual school students.     Begins today (01 February 2021). The principal of Sabarigiri College of Education, Brahmanandan Sir alloted eight students to Anchal East Govt.H.S.S, Anchal. Our team was formed by allocating students from two departments. Amritha Ajayan, Archa.B.S, Archana Alex, Lekshmi Mohan and Jeni.M.Shaji of English Department, & Chethana Ranendran, Chippy Babu and Vihas.H of Maths Department are the team members. Our option teachers guided us to prepare the lesson plan and teaching aids. They provide immense instructions and advices to perform well in the teaching practice. CURRICULAR OBJECTIVES * All the teacher students were assigned a class to teach from 8 or 9. * Fifteen lesson templates should be completed during teaching practice. * Online face to face teaching with actual students is a must.   CLASS REFLECTION ...
