Semester 1

 National Science Day is celebrated today. The theme of Science Day 2020 is "Women In Science". The secondary level students of Sabarigiri.H.S.S, Anchal were invited to our college as part of this celebration. Maths, Physical Science and Natural Science option student - teachers were assigned to conduct this programme. Vihas from Maths option , Neethu from Physical Science and Lekshmi from Natural Science took seminars related to their subjects. A quiz competition (only Maths and Science related questions) was also held for the secondary level students of Sabarigiri.H.S.S, Anchal. After a two round quiz competition,  first ,second and third prize winners were appreciated and our principal, Mr.Brahmanandan Sir distributed the prizes. The Natural science and physical science students coordinated an awareness class about COVID 19 and the virus outbreak in China.  

 As part of B.Ed Curriculum, another workshop on Capacity Building Programme of Philosophy ( Life Skill Education ) and Psychology ( Stress Management ) was held today. Mr.Binu Surendran, Mind Power Motivational Trainer was the chief guest. Our principal, Brahmanadan Sir preside over the programme. I was assigned to do the anchoring. The class was informative as well as entertaining. The activities put forward by Binu Sir made the class engaging and active.

  It was a great day today. Annual Day Celebration of the college was really a dhamaka. Mrs.Renju Suresh, Anchal Block Panchayat President was the chief guest. Dr.Jayakumar Sir (Chairman), Brahmanandan Sir (Our principal) and many other eminent personalities also preside over the function. Manuscript Magazine of our batch (2019-21) - പറയാൻ ബാക്കിവച്ചത്.... was released and was published by Mrs.Renju Suresh and was handed over to Dr.Jayakumar Sir. Annual report of the year was presented by Brahmanandan Sir and certificates,medals and trophies were given for the winners of 15th Annual Sports Meet by Dr.Jayakumar Sir. Individual championship trophy was awarded for Akhil Krishnan from boys and Amritha Ajayan from girls.

 An awareness class on 'First Aid' was conducted and Dr.V.K.Jayakumar Sir was the resource speaker. He made us clear about the first aids that are used in different situations. He also made us aware about the present threat - Corona Virus; and discussed the remedial measures to prevent it.
